Tom Theriault takes his second win in a row at the NBBA Viking Cues 9 Ball Tour Stop #2

The Viking NBBA tour made its way into Moncton, New Brunswick this past weekend with 43 players registering into the event at Dooly’s Elmwood Drive.

Making his presence known Tom Theriault wins his second straight tournament of the tour. After losing an early match he made his way through a mine field of strong players besting Chris Love Dempsey 7-6, Jerry O'Keefe 7-4, Greg Gauthier 7-3, Matt Crawford 7-3 and Jason Thomas 7-3. Thomas himself back in the finals against a player we have not seen in a while David McInnis, who came through the winners side undefeated with notable wins over Provincial Champs Stephan Doiron 7-2 and Jason Thomas 7-5. In the finals, Theriault came out on top with a 9-2 score line.

The Ladies Division also made their 2nd tour stop in Moncton this weekend with a field of 9 contenders looking to take part. Lisa Ann Marie Savoy avenging her a side final lost to Candace Campbell by besting Tour Stop #1 winner Lisa David with a score of 7-4 and in the final match making her way to a 9-4 win over Campbell.
