Canadian Spots from Viking Tour
3 Canadian spots in both Open and Amateur.
Top 2 in rankings.
1 spot in each division from a double knockout event at the end of Tour year. An individual must have participated in 4 tour events to be eligible for the Tour invites.
Expenses awarded to Provincial Champ spots are subject to the same 4 event requirement. Expense funds for all spots will be determined at the end of the season.
To purchase spots requires a 3 event minimum.
Format
- Race to 7 on A & B side
- Final 1 race to 9
- 9- Ball racks on the spot
- Alternate break
- Non-breaker racks using a magic rack
Fees
Each participant must be a member in good standing of the NBBA
$10 annual membership fee in addition to $10 annual Tour fee.
The tour fee is not required if only playing in Provincials or other NBBA sanctioned non-tour events.
Entry Fees
A ranked - $60
B ranked - $45
C ranked - $30
D ranked - $15
- $5 of each entry will go to NBBA at each Tour event.
- These fees will be used as administration fees & towards Canadian spots expenses.
- All other funds from the entry fees will be returned as prize money for each event.
- Prize for top finishing C ranked player - $60
- Prize for top finishing D ranked player - $30
- The amount of these prizes will be re-accessed after the 3rd Tour Event.
- These cash prizes are in lieu of a Second Chance event at each Tour stop.
Added Funds
$750 minimum at each Tour Stop. The added funds will be shared with the Ladies Division when they are combined.
Ladies can play in the Open division, but not both divisions at a combined event (both divisions are being played on the same day at the same location).
Dress Code
Collared shirt, long legged pants & no hats. Pants must not be sweat or jogging pants.
*Note: These are for the Tour Stops. Dress codes for the Provincials may be different.
Start Times
Entries will be taken this year until 11:45. Players meeting when required will be at 11:45.
Play will start as soon after 12PM as possible.
These times will be enforced so if you are late, please call.

Residency Guideline
To participate in any NBBA sanctioned event, a person must live in New Brunswick, & have valid Provincial ID, either a NB Drivers Licence or Medicare Card.
