COMMIT 100%

“I’d rather be decisive with the wrong club, than unclear with the right club.” - Walter Hagen

Before you pull the trigger on a shot, you have to feel sure about yourself. You must be confident that you have made the right decision.

If you have any doubt at all, get up out of your stance and start again. To be successful, every shot must have your total commitment.

When you decide on a shot, you are also creating an outcome. If you are still considering another shot, your mind and body are caught between outcomes. The visuals of both shots compete for attention and your mind gets confused. It can’t give you both outcomes, so it doesn’t give you either one. It’s no surprise you end up missing.

Mental stress and conflict are game killers. When you present your mind with conflicting thoughts, you are creating stress and sabotaging your success. In fact, your chances of playing the wrong shot with decisiveness are better than playing the right shot with lingering doubt.

Consider all your options while standing and make a choice that you can commit to completely. Once you move into your stance, focus all of your effort on execution.

Never pull the trigger on a shot unless you are 100% committed.
