Steve Markle

His story: Steve "Blue Shark" Markle hails from Bucks County, Pennsylvania where he discovered his passion for pool at a young age while enjoying local tables with his father. Amid bonding with his father over the game, a man called “Jay May” taught Steve a trick shot that allowed him to pot four balls with one shot. This was the turning point where Steve’s passion sparked for specialty trick shots.

By 16, he turned professional, touring both nationally and internationally representing the US twice in China. He was also on Team USA for ESPN’s World Cup of Trick Shots. His accolades expand beyond tournaments nowadays, with appearances on Fox, MTV, Discovery, NBC, ABC, Nickelodeon, as well as multiple advertisements for the likes of Lincoln Cars and Evan Williams Whiskey.

Alongside his impressive billiards achievements, Markle is a dedicated police officer in Bucks County, embodying a strong commitment to serving and supporting his local community.
